Welcome at the Ovabloc website

Ovabloc is a sterilisation method for women, whereby a rubber plug is inserted into both Fallopian tubes. This plug forms a barrier between the egg-cell and sperm cell.

General anaesthetic is not required, you leave the hospital directly after the procedure and can resume your daily activities straight away. There are no wounds or scarring involved because the method makes use of natural access routes.

Ovabloc has been safely used among women for many years. We can therefore safely say that Ovabloc is just as reliable as other forms of contraception.
